Leads community development and program strategy while building and maintaining strong relationships with the community, industry partners, and all levels of government. Champions the interests of the Chard Métis Nation through consultation, leadership and the development of comprehensive project plans and frameworks.
Director, Government Relations & External Affairs
Fort Mckay Métis Nation, 2020-2024
Oversaw both the Government Relations and Communications departments, leading the development and execution of strategic initiatives to advance the Nation’s priorities. Directed all aspects of Crown-led consultation, providing expert guidance on engagement strategies and ensuring alignment with the Nation’s goals. Built and maintained key relationships across all levels of government, while fostering strategic partnerships with industry and external stakeholders to support advocacy and long-term community advancement.

Director, Child & Family Support Services
Fort McMurray 468 First Nation, 2016-2020
Led both the Child and Family Support Services Department and the Childcare Services Department, overseeing program delivery and strategic planning. Directed the development and implementation of holistic community wellness initiatives focused on family support, mental health, addiction recovery, and early childhood development. Provided leadership in building culturally grounded programs that addressed the evolving needs of families within the Nation.

Medical Instructor
St John Ambulance, 2011-2023
Certified First Aid Instructor delivering a wide range of lifesaving training programs using a comprehensive curriculum and proven instructional techniques. Taught Emergency First Aid, Standard First Aid, Health Care Provider CPR, Enhanced First Aid, and Babysitting Safety courses. Focused on equipping learners with practical skills, safety awareness, and confidence to respond effectively in emergencies.
